▶ FAQ on the new battle effect 'Counterattack'

Q. What is 'Counterattack'?

A. Counterattack is a state where "when an allied fleet is attacked, it immediately deals counterattack damage to the attacking enemy".

ex) If my flagship in a counterattack state is attacked by an enemy frigate, my flagship will deal counterattack damage to the enemy frigate.

Q. How is the damage from 'Counterattack' calculated?

A. The damage from 'Counterattack' is calculated based on the attack power of the allied flagship or regular ships that are performing the counterattack.

Q. When the allied fleet is in a 'Counterattack' state and deals counterattack damage to the enemy when attacked, does the attack target of the allied fleet keep changing?

A. No, it doesn't. The allied fleet continues to attack the previous target without change, while separately dealing counterattack damage to the enemy that attacked the allied fleet in the counterattack state.

ex) If an allied frigate in a counterattack state is attacking an enemy battleship and is attacked by an enemy destroyer, it will continue attacking the battleship as the original target and deal separate counterattack damage to the enemy destroyer.

Q. When the allied fleet is in a 'Counterattack' state and is simultaneously attacked by two or more enemy flagships or regular ships, does it only deal counterattack damage to one of them?

A. No, it doesn't. When the allied fleet in a counterattack state is attacked by two or more enemies, it deals counterattack damage to all enemies that attacked the allied fleet.

ex) If an allied frigate in a counterattack state is simultaneously attacked by an enemy flagship and a cruiser, it will deal counterattack damage to both the enemy flagship and cruiser.

Q. If the allied fleet in a 'Counterattack' state becomes unable to move or attack due to an enemy's skill, will it still deal counterattack damage to the attacking enemy?

A. Yes, it will. If the allied fleet is in a counterattack state, it will still deal counterattack damage to the enemy attacking it even if it becomes unable to move or attack.

However, if the enemy attacks the allied fleet in a counterattack state without receiving any damage, the counterattack damage will not be applied to the enemy.

Q. If the allied fleet in a 'Counterattack' state is attacked but lacks the range to reach the attacking enemy ship, will it still deal counterattack damage to the enemy ship?

A. Yes, it will. Even if the enemy's attack falls outside the range of the allied fleet, counterattack damage will still be dealt to the attacking enemy ship.

Q. When both the allied fleet and the enemy fleet are in 'Counterattack' state and attack each other, how is counterattack damage applied?

A. 'Counterattack' state triggers counterattack damage only when receiving normal damage. Therefore, if both the allied and enemy fleets are in 'Counterattack' state and attack each other, counterattack damage is applied only to the target that received normal damage from the opponent.
