This is the Project Director for ASTROKINGS.
First of all, we apologize for the unpleasant content that we need to share through this notice.
Recently, we received a report that there was a player suspected of being part of the company on the live server. As a result of tracking and analyzing the data, we confirmed that the employee’s account is being used on the live server.
According to the original internal policy, all employees are required to test on a separate test server, but as a result of the audit, it was confirmed that a newly hired employee manipulated the game data without permission and performed test play on the live server.
Although the commander level is not high, and it did not play outside the scope of QA and testing purposes, the fact that the employee played the game on the live server with an unusual account is considered a very serious matter. We’ll be sharing the details with our commanders and we sincerely apologize for this situation.
- This account is a planet of commander level 35, and it’s confirmed that the employee played the game by performing activities such as exploring the federation, joining and leaving the federation, and engaging in pirate base battle, excluding PVP content.
- The account has been deleted after checking the contents.
- The employee who used the account will be subject to disciplinary action through the internal disciplinary committee.
For fair gameplay, ASTROKINGS prohibits internal personnel from playing on the live server, and only a limited number of employees are given access to modifying data to implement recovery policies and fix bugs.
Nevertheless, once again, we sincerely apologize for not being able to thoroughly manage the situation to prevent problems from occurring in advance.
We will enhance our training programs for new personnel and further subdivide the internal management process to ensure thorough management to prevent a similar situation from happening in the future.
With our sincerest apologies, we have prepared compensation for our commanders. Once again, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience.
